i wish i had something new to say about sexualization of women and violence against women in videogames. i wish i had the words to properly express how repugnant this trailer is, how utterly betrayed i feel by one of my favorite IPs ever—an IP that, while never particularly enlightened, at least never made me feel completely unwelcome.

It’s just so callous, like it never even occurred to them how gross this is. It goes without saying that I’m offended by this as a woman, but it’s frankly offensive to male gamers too. I mean I think I’d feel like this was an insult if I were a male gamer and this is what the Hitman: Absolution marketing team thought I’d be totally into.
